Consular Services
The Embassy of Ecuador in Washington, DC, provides the following consular services:
Hours of Operation
Attention to the public is between 9:00 a.m. and
(changed) 1:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. Consulate hours are between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Cash, money order, or company checks are the only forms of payment accepted.
We do not accept credit cards or personal checks.
Applications brought in person will be processed on the same day,
applications sent by mail, will be processed within 48 hours.

Jurisdiction:
The Consulate of Ecuador in Washington, D.C. has jurisdiction over the
States of Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, the
District of Columbia and temporarily over South Carolina and Georgia. To

This Consulate provides humanitarian assistance to low-income families in
Ecuador, especially children, in coordination with the Ecuadorian National
Institute of Children and Family (INNFA), as well as other non-profit
organizations.
